Consisting of metal skins with a rigid foam core made of polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR), both materials are lightweight, robust and provide a high insulation value when compared to other insulation materials.

An advantage is that these panels are thin which makes them one of the most cost-effective methods for building insulation. While the thickness of the panel regulates its insulation value, the application of PUR or PIR determines the fire resistance.
