(PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam cores provide very high insulation values as well as lightweight, robust and compact construction properties. Many insulation boards are made of PIR. The application of PUR or PIR determines the fire resistance of the board, while its thickness generally regulates insulation value.
They are used in almost any type of construction, from residential homes to commercial buildings, as well as in farm structures and factories.
These rigid foam boards have flexible facings such as aluminium foil, multi-laminate foil, glass fleece, paper or other facings.
