Why liquid polyurethane?
Acting as a glue during the reaction process inside the mould, liquid polyurethane makes it possible to integrate additional functional parts without needing extra attachment methods. The direct soling process ensures high effectiveness achieved with lower costs.
The technical benefits
Polyurethane offers multiple benefits, especially when compared to alternative materials. It is possible to alter its mechanical properties to almost any desired setting by adjusting the material’s chemical composition. This means anti-static, Electro Static Dissipative (ESD), oil-resistant, high-comfort, cold-flex solutions, alongside systems based on renewable materials, are all possible. In addition, the reaction profile can be easily customised to fit your manufacturing or production requirements.

Fashion Shoe Soles
Soles for fashion shoes must be able to withstand moisture, changing temperatures and abrasion, while offering a high degree of comfort. Pearl Polyurethane develop the right formulation and a quick and easy casting technique. Typically, single-sole shoes are glued or sewed to the shoe in a one step process. Utilising this process then guarantees faster cycle times on round table machines – with multiple different shoe models in one round – improving manufacturing efficiency and reducing production costs.
