More than just tight seals
Adhesives
Your flexible solution for strong bonds
Polyurethane-based adhesives can provide a more cost-effective solution for moulding and processing equipment than rubber and thermoplastic materials, when formulated accordingly. This is exactly where PearlBond adhesives can help you.
With a broad range of effective mechanical properties, PearlBond adhesive systems also provide a seemingly limitless number of application possibilities. Pearl can develop an appropriate formulation for your application to meet your business needs.
Binders
PearlBond binder is suitable for most applications and outdoor uses in any climatic conditions, from running tracks and playground mats to garden tiles, and in rebonded foam, and even marine applications. It’s compatible with a wide range of additives, including recycled granules.
PearlBond is an MDI based binder, a preferred alternative to TDI based binders, which can be easily customised for many recycling applications.
Rubber, cork, stone, flexible foam, PU, or rebonded granules can be combined with the PearlBond PU-based binder to create whole new range of value-added products out of previously discarded resources.
It can be used for products that dampen noise and vibration or those that offer improved comfort, slip resistance, or shock absorption.
With properties ranging from soft to semi rigid to hard, PearlBond binder offers durable solutions for an almost limitless variety of applications.
Panel lamination adhesives
PearlBond provides strong and durable lamination:
• A full range of one- and two-component polyurethane adhesives can be adapted to individual customer needs
• Suitable for use on continuous, discontinuous and double-belt panel laminators
• A2 filled fire rated systems for dispensing and viper applications available
• Enabling production efficiency and output at differing speeds
• For bonding of aluminium, steel or full-stressed skin materials to polyurethane or polystyrene foam, mineral wool, and cores containing other insulation materials
• With robust sealing properties
• Ensuring laminated panels absorb structural weight stress while providing superior thermal adaptability
• Provide flexibility to cope with expansion due to temperature changes
• Allow for longer panels with less panel joints providing more cost-effective and rapid production
