Here are just a few examples of projects we have worked on around the world, working with local partners to deliver customised solutions that fit the exact requirements of our customers.

 

A dog chew (Germany)

We worked with Christian Meyer, managing partner at Neopur Technologien, on fine-tuning Neopur’s formulation for its PUchew for dogs.

Neopur created the PUchew because traditional chew bones couldn’t endure the vigorous chewing of their company dog, Capper. So they made one that suited him better by using PU technology for durability and mouth feel.

Pearl’s work to perfect Neopur’s formulation helped to create a dog chew that was durable enough to prevent damage but, at the same time, was a satisfying chew toy for a big dog to enjoy.

In a recent interview in Urethanes Technology International, Christian said: “With the Pearl raw materials, we reached what we see as the perfect balance. We first had contact with Pearl in 2023. Wolfgang Schotten, the company’s [now-retired] sales manager, established the contact between the two companies, and I had the honour of meeting the entire Pearl team in Egypt in 2025. We have been working even more closely together ever since.”

Pearl’s technical team is also mentioned in the article, as they “made four rapid formulation iterations, shipping new systems from Dubai to Osnabrück in as little as 48 hours.”

A children’s playground (Australia)

Playgrounds need clean, soft and slip-resistant finishes that are appealing and safe.

This public playground in New South Wales commissioned a high-performance safety surface from Synthetic Grass and Rubber Surfaces. The team there selected PearlBond, engineered to provide superior elasticity, bond strength, and weather resistance. The final result was not only visually appealing, but also compliant, safe, and long lasting.

Rohan Fisher of Synthetic Grass and Rubber Surfaces told us that “PearlBond performed exactly as expected. The curing was clean, the finish was consistent, and our installers found it easy to work with. We’ll continue using it across future playground projects.”

A real estate development (Egypt)

The project “Direction White” on the North Coast of Egypt has used Pearl’s polyurea spray system, DuraPearl, to waterproof the rooftops, lagoons and pools for its development.

DuraPearl creates a seamless, impenetrable barrier against water and moisture and was applied by Egypt’s Engineering company for trade and supplies on this project. It’s ideal for this development because, unlike traditional coatings, DuraPearl adheres seamlessly to a variety of materials, ensuring long-term protection in any environment.

The final result is fast-curing, resilient and durable.
